1002
The model 1002 is a small machine that was built from 1974 to 1981. It is what we consider an entry level machine for those who have a small acreage. It is capable of stacking (56) 14"x16" or (42) 16"x18" bales in the 34-42" length only. Depending on how it was equipped from the factory, it may or may not have its own self-contained hydraulic system, a few relying on tractor hydraulics for that power. Similar to the model 1000/1010 it has a manually raised bale loader which runs continuously off of the power shaft. The first table is mechanically powered off of the power shaft as well. The 1002 does have hand-operated tie spikes, and incorporates push-off feet that are powered by a system which allows them to extend using the 2nd table cylinder and cables, and retract using springs. Only the second table/push-off feet, and the load rack are hydraulically powered. These machine are capable of being operated with a tractor in the 30 HP range with a 540 PTO, and may require tractor remote hydraulics as explained above. The 1002 is well supported by our parts department and available in many levels of operational conditions to meet your budgetary and operational needs.
