1047
The 1047 model was built by New Holland from 1066 to 1970. Similar to its "2-wide" sister the 1046, it is a first generation machine with a 6-cylinder engine, 4-speed transmission, 2-speed rear axle and power steering. They do have some down sides compared to the 1049 series machines in that they have flat tables, no automatic tie provisions, are driven from the right hand side, and parts support at this time is limited. These machines were built to stack 2-string bales in the "3-wide" configuration. Capacity is from 96-120 bales depending on your baler's chamber size. We have sold and serviced many of these machines over the years and they do come through the yard now and again, so give us a call if you feel a 1047 will work for you.
