1063

The New Holland model 1063 is a large pull type built from 1976 to 1981.  It is basically a 1069 without the cab and drive train.  The machine was designed to stack 14"x18" and 16"x18" bales that are 34"-42" long in a "3-wide" stack pattern.  The large load rack allows for stacking 135-162 bales per load depending upon your baler's chamber size.  The 1063 is equipped with full remote cable controls (7) which fit into an open platform or cabbed tractor.  We have sold many of these machines over the years and still see them from time to time.  Our parts department has most parts still readily available for it, even though factory support has drastically been cut back.  These machines were only delivered from the factory as "3-wide" machines, however a few have been converted over the years to the "2-wide" setup, and we have seen a few of those as well.  Being that this is a very large and heavy machine even when empty, we highly recommend a heavy,100+ HP tractor with power steering.  In addition most of them were setup to run off of a 1 3/8" 1000 PTO shaft, so running one on a 540 PTO with an adapter is an option, but requires a higher engine rpm to run the hydraulics properly.  Give us a call to inquire further about these machines if you believe it would be a good fit for your operation.
